About Wincanton Racecourse

Wincanton Racecourse is a racecourse located a few miles north of Wincanton, Somerset. It’s about 16 miles northeast of Yeovil and 33 miles south of Bristol. So overall this is in a pretty rural part of the country. Despite its size, however, Wincanton Racecourse punches well above its weight in terms of quality. Moreover, it hosts multiple key races every season and draws in big crowds on race day too!

Wincanton Racecourse is now owned by Jockey Club Racecourses. So you can expect nothing less than state of the art facilities when you turn up here. Bars, private boxes, picnic areas, and hospitality packages are all on offer on race days!

Wincanton Racecourse only offers Jump racing at its venue. The track is rectangular and runs right-handed. Plus, it’s around two miles in length and has nine fences. The corners here aren’t too sharp either, so overall this is a pretty quick course.
